userMy roommate comes home from work late every night as she works in a bar. I am an early bird and have scheduled all my classes in the mornings. Every night that she works I can hear her make food and turn on the TV and it wakes me up. I’m so frustrated I can’t sleep after that. I know we have different schedules but is it OK if I ask her to either make less noise or find a new place to live?

Finding a suitable roommate is as hard as finding a suitable spouse. But there is no good or bad person, and it’s not fair to ask others to change. Changing a roommate would be healthier for both of u
